WEST FARGO, N.D. — When it comes to having a lot of different classes for race fans to see throughout the summer, Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo has things covered.

In addition to the regular weekly classes of the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Hobby Stock and INEX Legends classes, the NLRA Late Models,, World of Outlaw Sprint Cars, the NLSA Lightning Sprints, the Northern Renegade Non-Winged Sprints and the NOSA Sprints will make appearances at the 3/8-mile oval located in West Fargo, N.D.

“We worked all winter on the schedule to give the fans a variety of race classes to watch during the 2019 season,” RRVS chief operating officer Nick Skalicky said. “In fact, we have seven different nights with five different sprint car classes: IMCA, NOSA, World of Outlaws, Northern Renegades Non-Winged, and NLSA Lightning Sprints. We also added the growing IMCA SportMod class to the Red River Valley Fair ticket in July. Plus the Outlaws make their third trip back to the track in August along with the NLRA Late Models. The 2019 race schedule has a lot of action each night for the fans and race teams and we’re looking forward to kicking off the season on May 3.”

There is a Test and Tune scheduled for April 26 with the regular season opening on May 3. Eighteen shows are on the schedule. Highlights include the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars on Aug. 17 along with the NLRA Late Modes , the Sanders Modified Challenge on Aug. 2, the Minn-Kota Legends Tour on May 31, the Tri-City IMCA Modified Series (June 28 and Aug. 2) and the Red River Valley Fair Special, which features NOSA Sprints, IMCA Sport Mods and INEX Legend Cars.

The track will also devote a night to a meet and free for each division which was highly popular in 2018.

The NLSA Lightning Sprints will be in town on June 14 and Aug. 21. The IMCA Sprints will be at RRVS on May 24 when the track also hosts the Dakota Cat Mod Shootout. The IMCA Stock Cars will host the second night of the King Pin Klash on July 19 (first event is the night before at Norman County Raceway in Ada).
